Tri-County BPW Mission Statement
Achieving equality for all women through advocacy, education and information.  It is our goal to elevate women, bring about a spirit of cooperation among women, and to serve our community.
Our objectives include:
  • to elevate the standards of all women.
  • to promote interests of all women.
  • to bring about a spirit of cooperation among all women.
  • to expand opportunities to all women through educational along the lines of industrial, scientific and vocational activities.
  • to reach out to our community and support our local non-profit organizations.
Our History...
National Organization
  • World's largest Federation dedicated to the advancement of the working woman.
  • Outgrowth of Women's War Council in New York in 1918.
  • Financed through a Federal Grant.
  • Officially established in St. Louis, Missouri in July 1919.

State Organization
  • South Carolina Federation organized in Greenville, SC June 20, 1919.
  • Four charter organizations in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, and Spartanburg.
  • Formed under the auspices of YWCA until 1920 when they federated.
  • South Carolina was the 5th Southeastern state to federate.

International Organization
  • Organized in Geneva, Switzerland in 1930.

Local Organization
  • Five Greenville members met to organize the Easley BPW Club on February 26, 1946.
  • In 2016, the name was changed from Easley BPW to Tri-County BPW .

Our Future...
Members of the Tri-County Chapter of Business & Professional Women are active in their communities.  We enjoy elevating other women and working together to achieve our annual Chapter goals.  

Membership is open to any professional women - employed or retired, college student, and any women who support the objectives and mission of the Tri-County Business & Professional Women.​

Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month beginning at 12:30 PM at Fatz Cafe in Easley, SC. 

We meet other women of Pickens, Anderson and Oconee counties who share business objectives and opportunities.

We raise funds to sponsor program awards annually as well as award monetary scholarship's to women in our community.
